We supply several types of adhesives commonly used in edge banding, including:
EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) – cost-effective, easy to use, suitable for most applications
PUR (Polyurethane Reactive) – high bonding strength, water and heat resistant, ideal for high-performance or moisture-prone environments
The right adhesive depends on your machine type (e.g., hot-melt, slot nozzle, roller application) and working temperature. EVA is compatible with most standard edge banding machines, while PUR requires machines with PUR-specific melting and application systems. Tell us your machine brand and model, and we’ll recommend the suitable adhesive.
Yes. Our adhesives are formulated to bond securely with a wide range of edge banding materials including ABS, PVC, acrylic, melamine, and wood veneer. Let us know the specific edge material, and we will provide a compatible glue recommendation.
For EVA adhesives, we recommend an application temperature of 160–200°C, and for PUR adhesives, 120–140°C (depending on the formulation). The amount of glue depends on the board material and speed, but typically 150–180 g/m² for EVA. We can provide technical data sheets and guidance for your exact process.
Our adhesives are available in granules, cartridges, or blocks, depending on the type.
EVA hot melt: 25kg bags
PUR: 2kg–20kg aluminum cartridges or drums
Minimum order quantity is usually 500kg for EVA and 100kg for PUR, but trial orders can be discussed.
